Have a look at this image

What kind of scene is it?

How many different parts can you identify?

What buildings or objects can you see? Where are they?

Where are the people?

What are they doing?

Now write a description of this scene in your notebook.

You must organize your desription like this:

Introductory paragraph saying what kind of scene it is

One paragraph for each different part. Include at least 5 sentences in each.

Use these models:

This is a ……………………………………….

There is ………… / There are ………..

I can see …………….

There is a boat. / There are some birds.

I can see a woman reading a book. A woman is reading a book. There’s a woman reading a book
